A senior IT Consultant / Project Manager, with 25+ years experience of implementing projects in professional services / law firms and blue chip companies. A former law firm IT Director,  Andrew has a rare mix of skills combining exceptional technical knowledge with a desire to understand the business and an ability to communicate to all levels and disciplines. 

Like other Inpractice UK consultants, Andrew fits easily alongside the IT and management teams in the law firms we work for, promising a pragmatic approach always focused on results; producing solutions that work for the business.

Specialist areas include:
  • Management information reporting, data warehouse, KPI reporting etc. - by consolidating multiple data sources, finding the most suitable techniques for presentation and analysis; also making the presentation of MI easy to access for non technical people. Some solutions have been developed specifically for Peppermint and LexisNexis Axxia practice management systems. Excel through Powerpivot and up to SQL Analysis Services and the latest Tabular models.
  • IT Health-checks, troubleshooting, restructure advice and management, to ensure effective performance, security, resilience and disaster recovery;
  • IT Systems integration, where firms have disparate systems for practice, case, marketing, client relationship or HR management (which carry the risk of multiple databases and data input), Andrew introduces mechanisms to extract and analyse information across systems, to minimise duplicate input and to keep databases in sync.
  • Integration of CRM and Practice Management systems - integrating databases to best effect when the decision is made to bring in a specialist CRM product. Working with Dynamics CRM and Peppermint CX.
  • The technical side of getting to grips with existing client databases - Consolidation, analysis and developing solutions to make full use of their potential; for example, segmentation, and reporting to enable marketing, generate repeat business and support cross selling.
  • Data conversion services (from Arista / Artiion) to Elite 3e, Aderant and Peppermint.
