Outside work, Ian and his long-term partner, Kirsty, enjoy time in Lanzarote. Ian is also a follower of Port Vale Football Club, the San Francisco 49ers and Giants from the American Football League and Baseball leagues.  He also plays 5-a-Side Football twice a week.
