With over 15 years experience working for some of the UK's leading law firms, Darren specialises in getting lawyers engaged on strategic client relationship and key account management initiatives to enable lawyers to deliver better value to clients, enabling them to find new ways of delivering more of whatever it is that clients are willing to pay for.

Experience in practice and recent projects include design of bespoke CRM strategies for legal practices involving independent reviews that have produced very good results from both clients and introducers of business. All focus on identifying and developing new sales opportunities as well as ensuring that client retention is paramount. We also link client feedback into our associated fee earner appraisal systems to support development of new skills.  

Typical components of Darren's involvement in CRM projects include:

Darren has substantial experience in pitch and tender management including putting together bids and tender responses and presentations, where partners just don't have enough hours in the day. Being in regular contact with commercial clients ensures that he is ideally placed to give you a competitive advantage in presenting your services. Our services here include:

  • Developing strategies to agree what work to bid for ... and what NOT to bid for.
  • Management of entire tender processes
  • Drafting and support with drafting for one-off proposals and pitches
  • Strategic input to ensure there is a planned approach to new business pitching throughout the firm

Living in York with wife Annabel, but travelling the country on projects, Darren enjoys cooking, wine, walking and collecting first edition books.
